Remember when my neighborhood was snowing cotton last year?

I had posted photos last year of what it looked like when it was snowing cotton in our neighborhood, http://beautyofstgeorge.blogspot.com/search/label/cottonwood%20tree .

Well, about a month ago the owner of that lovely massive cottonwood tree couldn’t stand it anymore, either, and so he had it all cut down! Yea!!!!! I thanked him and mentioned that the whole neighborhood was thankful, too. We laughed.

It's snowing COTTON ! ! !

For the last couple of weeks it has been snowing.....cotton....by our house....because two houses down from us we have a neighbor that has a gigantic cottonwood tree in their back yard. And when the breeze comes up, down comes the fluffy white cotton out of the tree and goes EVERYWHERE!! It even likes to come into our house when we open the door.
